Mississippi State mascots attended camp at the University of Alabama in July with the cheerleaders and pom squad. During the 3-day camp, our "Bully" mascots received all superior ribbons in evaluations and they were awarded the "Most Traditional" trophy from the UCA mascot instructors.

Our Bully's are extremely involved within the community with alumni appearances, university functions, and even outside events such as birthday parties. Bully mascots are also involved in Fan Fare during football season; taking pictures and visiting with the kids. Our mascots are at all football games and all home basketball games.

We have four Bully mascots at Mississippi State University Starkville campus. Each Bully receives $500 per semester scholarship as well as camp clothes, camp fees, mascot uniforms and travel expenses. In 2008-2009 MSU Spirit Groups will be adding a Bully mascot to the Meridian Campus. The Meridian campus Bully will also attend UCA College Mascot camp with MSU Spirit Groups, receive camp clothes, a mascot uniform and receive a $150 per semester scholarship. The MSU Meridian Campus Bully will report to the MSU Starkville campus Spirit Coordinator.
