MSU Spirit Groups - All Girl

All Girl

The Mississippi State All-girl cheerleading squad scored big in its first appearance at UCA/UDA College Spirit camps in 2007. They went home with first place in sideline and second place in the cheer competitions. The team also took home the Leadership Award that was voted on by the teams that attended camp. The All Girl team continues to grow in skills, discipline and dedication. During the summer of 2009, the MSU All Girl team brought home 1st place in the cheer competition at UCA/UDA College Spirit camp held at the University of Alabama.

In their first year as a team, MSU's All-girl team placed 9th at the 2008 UCA College Nationals. Natalie Buchanan, Sarah Hough, Whitely Rodenbaugh and Lauren Enstrom went home with 2nd place in the partner stunt competition.

The All-girl cheerleading squad at MSU will consist of 16-20 girls that will receive a $150-$325 per semester scholarship as well as camp clothes, camp fees, uniforms and travel expenses. Although MSU is considered a competitive team, our first obligation is to our university. The All-girl squad participates in all home football games and women's home basketball games, tournaments, as well as fundraising events, alumni appearances and squad clinics.
